Many commonly used CAD files and 3D renderings can be used for a smooth transition.
We work with AUTOCAD, 3DSMAX and CATIA. Common file formats are
3DS, MAX, DXF, DWG and OBJ.
... or send us pictures from multiple viewpoints
Do not have CAD-files and renderings at hand? We can do 3D modelling from regular images.
How many pictures?
We have experts
for technical and natural objects (and any intricate geometric shapes).
Depending on the complexity of the object and the desired richness of details,
we need at least four or five pictures including all important details.
Reasonable complexity?
The necessary complexity to achieve the best result, depends on the glass size that the final object will be engraved in.
A modell can consist of many separate parts and multiple assemblies. Provide us with detailed specifications
or rely on our year-long expertise.
Parts & assembly
In order to achieve richness of details, different objects of a three-dimensional model
need to appear in different shades and tones. Part of our job is to determine, which
objects of the assembly need to appear light or dark to achieve the optimal result.
Geometry only
As the appearance in glass depends only on the geometry, you can safely remove functional,
and simulation-related details before sending us your files.
